Alicia Koplowitz Foundation Announces 10 grants for stays of 1 to 6 months, to expand academic, clinical, methodological training or collaborate in research projects in foreign centres of excellence. The objective is to promote the development of knowledge in Spain of the Psychiatry of children and adolescents.
will be preferential lines: autism, schizophrenia, affective disorders, attention disorders and hyperactivity, food disorders and neuropharmacology in childhood and adolescence.
centres will be elective by applicants, hospitals, universities and institutes of research with programmes appropriate to the project.
requires the original of the letter of pre-acceptance of the Centre of destination for the project submitted.
the enjoyment of scholarships must be carried out during the year 2013.
in published articles, communications to congresses and other scientific findings of the stay, the fellow is required to recognition the aid granted by the Fundación Alicia Koplowitz expressly, as well as send a copy of the work or communication to their fiscal domicile.
the grant will have an allocation of between 3,000 and 4,000 euros per month depending on the place of destination. Shall deduct the amount of the scholarship the withholding amount that set the Spanish tax legislation or corresponding foreign.
with the Endowment, the trainee shall defray the expenses of travel, stay, health insurance and maintenance during the period of the fellowship.
economic allocation will be paid 70% at the start of the stay-30% at the end of the same, upon presentation by the scholar of the residence certificate of the receiving centre and the final report, which must be approved by the scientific coordinator of the Foundation.
seekers requirements:
Spanish nationality.
Be (MIR) psychiatrists or clinical psychologists (PIR) with training accredited in the area of childhood and adolescence.
Knowledge of the language of the country of destination and command of spoken and written English.
Be deemed to merit personal being at the service of the public administrations and certify this condition.
the Foundation shall carry out a process of pre-selection, under the appropriateness of requests to the bases of the call, discarding those that do not conform to them. Subsequently a selection Committee will evaluate the scientific quality of the applicants on the basis of the documentation provided.
the decision of the selection Committee will be final, secret, and will put an end to the selection process. It will be published on the website of the Fundación Alicia Koplowitz.
to proposal of the selection Committee, any or some of the scholarships offered may be declared deserted
fellows must submit a certificate of stay of the receiving centre, as well as a final report, detailing where the activities carried out, duly justifying all publications, communications to congresses, courses, etc. during the enjoyment of the scholarship at the end of his scholarship.
